It’s okay to miss people. It’s okay to miss things, places, smells, sounds. It’s okay to feel a sense of loss or longing. It’s okay if you still miss something that hurts or that you know is not good for you. It’s okay and it’s also normal and healthy. We are all affected by our environments and those around us… for better or for worse. Of course you can’t just “get over him/her/it”. Take as much time as you need to grieve the loss. Be gentle with yourself; it’s not easy.
It is absolutely okay to miss people.
