Grief

Grief has no timeline.

Grief has no timeline.

Grief is not always an image of someone crying alone in bed. Grieving is not always done in therapy or with loved ones. Sometimes feelings of grief strike in a business conference or when meeting with clients. Sometimes it’s in the middle of a crowded store or bus. Grief does not have rules and it does not have a timeline.

Grief hurts. Whether it’s the loss of a person, the loss of self, the loss of a relationship/a house/a job/an opportunity, etc. it can hit you at any time without warning. It can be years after the loss. Yes, it hurts. Yes, it’s normal. And yes, you will heal.
