Every meal does not need to be exactly what you were craving. It doesn’t need to be Instagram ready. It doesn’t even need to be completely balanced. Sometimes we don’t have time for a full meal, sometimes it doesn’t taste the way we thought it would, and sometimes we want ice cream for dinner. Sometimes we eat more, and sometimes we eat less. Normal eating is all about an overall balance, not necessarily rigid balance all the time.

Food doesn’t have to be perfect to eat it.
