Exercise and movement are very healthy coping mechanisms. However, at some point, some of us may use exercise to try to escape from our thoughts. It might work while your body is still moving, but the moment you stop, the thoughts are still there. And they may be even stronger than before since you continue to avoid them.
You can be the fastest runner, but in the end, you cannot out run your feelings because you can’t keep running forever.
