Some things in life are either black or white. The answer is “yes” or “no”.
However, most things in life are not so cut and dry. For instance, you are not just a good person or a bad person based on your actions. You are simply a person with good qualities and bad qualities. Foods are neither fully good for you or fully bad for you. And you are never entirely sad or entirely happy.
There are so many shades of gray in between black and white, so don’t just limit yourself to the two colors.
