Anger can sometimes be a really scary emotion. We may fear that we will hurt someone else with our words or our bodies, or hurt ourselves because of the intense feeling.

Anger is just another feeling. It’s justified, or if not, it’s valid. You are allowed to get angry and you are allowed to act on that anger, preferably after sitting with the feeling first.

Anger can be a safe feeling. It doesn’t always need to lead to yelling, aggressiveness, hitting, or eating. It can lead to healing. It’s okay to get angry, and it’s often necessary.
