An acquaintance (let’s call her Ann) is on a diet and everyone around her knows it. Today we got an update on how the diet’s going. Ann reports she has a few more pounds to lose until she’s at her goal weight and can finally relax. That’s when she can finally stop rushing home after work to go for a run while there’s still some daylight and depriving herself of the foods she enjoys. That’s when she’ll feel confident to start dating again.
