It is Normal to Overeat During the Holidays

it is normal to overeat during the holidays

A reminder that it is perfectly normal to overeat at the holidays or eat more than you usually would if it was any other day. It’s okay to leave a holiday meal or party feeling stuffed. You do not need to compensate for the fullness and in a few hours you will need to eat again. So enjoy the Hanukkah donuts this year and leave the guilt behind! If you feel out of control around the holiday foods, check to see if you are eating regularly scheduled meals and allowing all foods into your diet. You’ll be less likely to binge when you’re feeling satisfied and not deprived.
Happy Hanukkah to those celebrating!
