Eating disorders occur all across the size, race, age, socioeconomic, gender, and mental health spectrum. You don’t have to be thin, white, young, rich, female, and traumatized to have an eating disorder worthy of treatment. Often, this is the image we’re presented with of someone with an eating disorder, but that is only one type of person who gets an eating disorder. If you’re struggling, you always deserve treatment.
