Recovery from an eating disorder is so much more nuanced than just being able to eat cupcakes and ice cream! Although that’s certainly nice to be able to have these things and not freak out or need to compensate afterwards!
Halloween can be scary for some people (witches, ghosts, and vampires aside). So many of my clients struggle with bingeing on candy this time of the year. Can you relate?
Contrary to what you may have heard or believe to be true, it is totally okay to treat yourself using food!! Life is pretty stressful and you work so hard and you deserve a treat! If food or drink is the way for you then absolutely go for it! Of course, the problem is when the only way you know how to treat yourself or relax is through food and drink.
Calories = energy = life!
