Even When Life is Stressful, You Still Need to Eat

The holiday season is upon us with Thanksgiving less than a week away. This can be a very stressful time of year between spending time with family, going to parties, holiday shopping, and other obligations. Plus, the FOOD! Sometimes when you’re stressed, it’s easier just not to eat, but that’s exactly what you need to do when you’re stressed! Eating consistently throughout the day will help keep your blood sugar levels stable, keep your hormones in check, and help stave off “hangry” feelings. Remember to take care of yourself during this stressful time of year!

Feeling particularly stressed around eating? Want to go into the winter holidays with ease around food? Consider working with me, an experienced eating disorder registered dietitian. If you’re in the Centerport, New York area or want to work virtually send Christina an email to learn more about 1:1 nutrition therapy sessions! You don’t have to work on your issues with food all by yourself anymore!
