In case you haven’t heard yet or have been absent from social media like I have (cuz ya know, #life), Weight Watchers (now known as WW because they want to pretend they’re not a diet) has teamed up with Kurbo Health to provide a weight loss app for kids as young as 8 (but advertised on iTunes as being for ages 4+).

So think about it for a second. If restricting food and exercising led to sustained weight loss over time, every single one of us would be in smaller bodies. We’d all look more or less the same.

Someone Else’s Portion Sizes on Instagram May Not Reflect How Much Your Body Needs

Know that what other people are eating or posting pictures of does not have to be what you eat too. You choose your own portion sizes based on how hungry you are, how much energy you need, and how good the food tastes and makes you feel.
