I do Not Want to Spend my One Life at War With my Body

i do not want to spend my one life at war with my body
If this is the only life I have to live and this is the only body I’ll ever have, I don’t want to spend another second at war with my body.
I will treat my body with respect and show it kindness, even if sometimes it’s hard to love it. I will nourish my body and know that I deserve to eat just because I am alive. I will move my body joyfully and never as a punishment for what I ate. I will be compassionate if I have negative judgments about my body and I will know that those thoughts are normal and I do not have to act on them.
I will continue to show up to guide others on their journey towards freedom from disordered eating and I will hold space for those who are not yet ready.
Follow along for lots more to come in the new year/ new decade and feel free to let me know if you’ve given up being at war with your body!

If you’re ready to make peace with food and your body and ditch the dieting roller coaster, I’m accepting new clients to work 1:1 for nutrition counseling in the Centerport, New York area or virtually throughout the country.  Send Christina an email to learn more about 1:1 nutrition therapy sessions!
