It is 100% okay to want to change your body. It is 100% okay if you do end up changing your body.
But, you 100% do not need to change your body to prove your worth as a human, as a parent, as a child, as a friend, as a partner, as a professional, as a student.
If this is the only life I have to live and this is the only body I’ll ever have, I don’t want to spend another second at war with my body.
Okay, but over what weight?

You can wear shorts, you can wear bathing suits, you can wear tank tops. You can wear ANYTHING you want to regardless of body size, shape, scars, veins, tattoos, hair, bumps, stretch marks, etc.
