Someone Else’s Portion Sizes on Instagram May Not Reflect How Much Your Body Needs

Know that what other people are eating or posting pictures of does not have to be what you eat too. You choose your own portion sizes based on how hungry you are, how much energy you need, and how good the food tastes and makes you feel.

Everything is Not Always as it Seems

No one has it 100% together, but most people only post when they do. So remember that that “perfect” person you idolize (or maybe loathe), is probably not so perfect after all.

Comparison

As Theodore Roosevelt once said, “comparison is the thief of joy”. Is there anything more true than that statement? How many times have you been feeling pretty good about your accomplishments, only to see what someone else is doing and instantly feel bad about yourself? The comparison you see online or hear about in person truly is the thief of your joy.
